INPOM 2014 is the first international conference in Asia dedicated to operation, technical maintenance and repair of nuclear facilities. This subject is of great significance for more than 30 countries using nuclear energy. Meanwhile last years’ accidents stressed the importance of safety and efficiency in this filed. The international exchange of technologies and innovations used during NPP operation is the key knowledge source.

«NEOLANT» is experienced in development and introduction of ordered information systems and Plant Information Models, providing of engineering services for nuclear facilities of the State Corporation of Rosatom (Russia). At the INPOM NEOLANT demonstrated an implemented large-scale project on development of Plant Information Models for operation and decommissioning of the all 10 Russian Nuclear Power Plants ordered by Concern Rosenergoatom (Russia).

PIM Technologies allow creating a common digital visual database containing the full information about NPP to solve multiple tasks of operation and maintenance as follows:

  • Managing the NPP configuration and digital data exchange between NPP and General Designer;
  • Transmitting the data on the current NPP configuration into existing application operating IT-systems;
  • Visualizing, integrating and cross-analyzing the data from the all application operating systems;
  • Creating a single access point to the all data of operating systems;
  • Preserving and using knowledge of operating personnel;
  • Short-term training of the personnel by means of the advanced simulation modeling and simulators;
  • Modeling emergency situations;
  • Simulation modeling the complex work execution plans at reconstruction and repair;
  • Providing all the necessary data in various formats: 2D/3D models, spherical panoramas, process flow charts, timeline schedules, registers, specifications and others.

«Nowadays Chinese nuclear industry develops enormously. The Republic operates 21 power units and intends to build about 30 new units more. Therefore, issues of safe and efficient operation and maintenance of NPP are of the highest priority. The significant experience in implementation of the nuclear projects in Russia accumulated by NEOLANT allows NPPs to solve the tasks using the Information Modeling technologies. Chinese counterparts underlined potential demand for such solutions in their country», -
Vladislav Tichonovsky, First Deputy Director General of NEOLANT says. Vladislav Tichonovsky is an author and creator of the first and unique Russian IT-system Database for NPP Units Decommissioning.
