NEOLANT (Russia), NUVIA (France), ENVINET (Czech Republic) at ATOMEXPO: Engineering with IT Innovations to Support Nuclear Industry

At the VII International Forum ATOMEXPO 2015, Group of Companies “NEOLANT”, NUVIA and ENVINET announced their willingness to provide full-range engineering and IT-support to Russian nuclear industry through their own joined unique expertise.

Joint stand of the partners represented an integrated range of engineering services supporting the whole nuclear facility life cycle with application of the state-of-the-art process & software tools servicing the fields as follow:

    Design / Engineering / Fabrication:

  • Construction / Modification / D&D Projects;
  • Tailor-made Equipment;
  • Procedures, Rules and Regulations;
  • Engineering System of
    • Water / Sewage Treatment,
    • Electric Power Supply,
    • Fire Protection,
    • Seismic Protection.

    Nuclear and Radiation Safety:

  • Complex Engineering and Radiation Survey;
  • Safety Justification;
  • Radiation Control and Monitoring;
  • NM and RW Accounting and Control System;
  • NSF and RW Management:
    • Technology Development,
    • Processing and Conditioning,
    • Characterization and Certification,
    • Equipment and Storage Facility.

    Moreover, NEOLANT exhibited own IT-solutions on the informational support of the nuclear facility life cycle. The solutions are of use in the light of import substitution tasks concerning the software applied in the Russian nuclear industry. These are as follow:

  • 3D-nD NPP Information and Simulation Models;
  • NEOSYNTEZ – Russian PLM/PDM;
  • InterBridge – 2D/3D CAD/PLM Converter and Visualizer;
  • POLYNOM – Russian CAD;
  • SOMOX – Construction IT Support;
  • Digital Decommissioning – Back-End Optimization;
  • Portal and Mobile Technologies.

Under the Forum events, NEOLANT and NUVIA strengthened their partnership in the solemn ceremony of signing the partnership agreement that took place with participation of Alexander Gorbachev, Advisor on Atomic Energy at the French Embassy in Russia.

    At the ATOMEXPO 2015, Vladislav Tichonovsky, first deputy president of NEOLANT, made a report: Digital Decommissioning: Software & Process Platform Supporting Back-End Stage of the Nuclear Facility Life Cycle. The approach is based on nuclear facility life cycle information model that undergoes the following transformations throughout the whole life cycle:

  • Design – Design Model,
  • Construction – As-Built Model,
  • Operation – Operation Model,
  • Decommissioning – Engineering & Radiation Model.

“The key ideology backing the Digital Decommissioning, an unparalleled in Russia and worldwide platform, is a focus on providing effectiveness at all back-end stages, resource optimization, consistent assessment of obligations at the decommissioning and radwaste management. The broad implementation of the Digital Decommissioning platform in the back-end practice is expected to enhance the development of Russian decommissioning process competitiveness on international markets,”
