The agreement was signed at a ceremony in the framework of VII International Forum ATOMEXPO 2015 with the participation of Alexandre Gorbatchev, representative of the French Ambassador, counselor on nuclear technologies and nuclear industry of the Embassy of France.

Among the NUVIA areas of work, the activities carried out in Russia will focus on the implementation of passive fire protection and anti-seismic engineering systems based on the unparalleled technologies successfully applied worldwide by the Company. These solutions are undoubtedly in demand among Russian enterprises implementing projects on the construction and operation of NPPs both in Russia and abroad.

“NUVIA ambitions are to be present on every significant nuclear market worldwide, and with such an objective, development in Russia has soon appeared as a priority.

Russian market has a dual interest for NUVIA. Firstly Russia is one of the most active country in the world in terms of construction of new nuclear facilities on its territory. Secondly Russia is the country of ROSATOM, which is the most important reactor constructor in the world.

We are convinced that NUVIA can bring to ROSATOM highly valuable products which benefit from the experience of major nuclear countries like France, UK or Czech Republic, and this is our challenge for the near future.

We are very happy to team NEOLANT which has extensive experience in the nuclear industry and significant technological potential”

— comments Jean-Jacques Doublecourt, International Business Development Director of NUVIA.

For more than three years Group of Companies NEOLANT has been successfully cooperating with one of the NUVIA’s daughter company – Envinet (Czech) in the field of introducing spectrometry equipment to characterize radwaste at the Russian enterprises.
